Natural Fibers. Natural Dyes. Slow Fashion.
I create one-size-fits-all fashions from organic cottons, hemps, and silk--naturally dyed then cut and machine sewn using zero-waste principles. People who experience my one of a kind pieces of sustainable wearable art feel themselves draped in natural beauty. The organic cotton is soft, the natural dye colors are rich and earthy; the garment is a comforting capacious shape, that flatters everybody

Spring through fall, I grow dye plants, collect flower heads, and forage for walnuts to make my dye vats.
In my studio, I use a variety of methods--vat dyeing, bundle dyeing, botanical printing, and fabric painting--to create complex surface designs on fabric.

It is always a surprise and gift of beauty to unwrap my dyed bundles and see the results. It gives me so much joy to see my garden living on cloth.
